The Sally Bragg Baker Scholarship was established by her family after her untimely death in the early 1970s. Sally Baker was a participant in and group leader for World Learnings Experiment in International Living programs to Austria and Germany in the 1950s and exemplified the spirit of the institution. It was in recognition of this spirit that the scholarship fund was created by her family and friends. This scholarship is awarded to a female participant in any SIT Study Abroad program who demonstrates international awareness and a desire to create a more peaceful world through international exchange
